Learning comes from questioning and teaching makes you question why you do things the way you do them. The act of demonstration makes it necessary to articulate the design process in steps. So many of these steps aren’t really thought about consciously when you are designing but when you are teaching you have to show a room of students what they are required to do. You realise that the act of teaching is an act of design in itself.
