How do you work out how to build something? You build it in your backyard. If you can build it in your backyard with an angle grinder and a welder from Bunnings then surely a builder with a factory and a whole lot of men will be able to construct it. The scale needs to be right, you cant just do this sort of thing out of balsa wood at 1:100 so a scale of 1:2 was set.

A voronoi is a partitioning of a plane into regions based on distance to points in a specific subset of the plane. It is also what happens when you ‘pack’ bubbles into a container. Like a bubble there is a high degree of integrity within each particular cell. If the cells are broken, this integrity is lost. This is key to the construction methodology employed in the production of the voronoi screen.
